Mario, the head chef at the Big Bang cafe made our experience very pleasant! Not only were the food options fresh, healthy and delicious, but he artfully accommodated the multiple food allergies and restrictions in our group. They also had great kids meal options, and food was reasonably priced and good quality. I highly recommend all visitors to stop by the cafe on your visit to CERN.

Such a lovely place! I came here after a guided tour to CERN and I discovered that it is a lovely spot to reflect upon everything new I had just discovered about physics. Also an inspiring place to work with a laptop, I regretted that I didn’t have mine with me. Thank you, Big Bang cafe, you have an amazing concept and exceptionally welcoming service! And a falafel was one of the best I ever tried! You made my day! :-)

The vibes are off the charts and there’s almost no one (so no noise, except for the background music). There’s loads of options from pastries to full meals. I had a great time after visiting the museum upstairs and I do want to say I wanted to have another donut. I recommend this place. PS: there’s a vending machine for sodas.

The Swiss burger of the month was absolutely delicious. The mushroom/pepper sauce was fabulous. The burger was cooked to perfection.

Kitchen and restaurant staff are very helpful and provide an excellent customer service experience! The food is tasty and well prepared. My wife a Texan and Hamburger Aficionado had the November burger of the month, with mushroom pepper sauce. She enjoyed it so much that she asked the chef for the recipe, which he obviously refused to divulge !!! I had the Caesar's Salad which was fresh and crispy! All is n all, we had a very pleasant dining experience and can, with a good conscience recommend the C.E.R.N. cafeteria to all visitors!!!
